Quick update - tried the adapter on my Panasonic Viera set, and the cec-client seemed to work. To fully enjoy this, I need to recompile XBMC myself, which seems near-impossible on Fedora 16. It's not done in 15 minutes, that's for sure.

Thank you so much for this post. Taking the time to investigate pays off. Much rather rid the problem then rid a whole feature.

A slightly more convenient way of adding an install image to the Grub boot-loader is by using "grubby":

$ /sbin/grubby --add-kernel=/boot/f15/vmlinuz --initrd=/boot/f15/initrd.img --args="ip=10.1.0.18 netmask=255.0.0.0 gateway=10.0.0.253 dns=10.0.0.253 ksdevice=eth0 method=http://ftp.crc.dk/fedora/linux/releases/test/15-Beta/Fedora/i386/os/ lang=en_US keymap=us vnc vncpassword=foobar headless" --title="Fedora 15 Headless VNC-install"

This example is for installing the beta of Fedora 15 on a i386 system.

Thanks for writing this up! However, for the 'method' in the kernel parameters, I think the protocol must be specified:

Change: method=//mirror.leaseweb.com/centos/5.4/os/x86_64/
To: method=http://mirror.leaseweb.com/centos/5.4/os/x86_64/

So this is still running rock solid?

I want to use Magento 1.3, but REALLY don't want to have to keep 5.2.x updated.

Ouch, I obviously made a typo :-) So far, it looks like Magento 1.4 will run flawlessly on PHP 5.3+ though.

While researching the code, I noticed you used "__invode" instead of the new PHP 5.3 function "__invoke". I wanted to ask if this was intentional (to prevent it from being called) or if this was in error.

Thanks for the heads up, this worked a treat on our blog. This plugin also builds a lot of data but the option to delete that data at regular intervals does not seem to work.
